Don’t see too many of those here
I’m mostly surprised it does not appear to be converted to lpg

Looks Shady to me, with all that double Dutch writing. Certainly needs some Dutch courage to drive a vehicle that size on the narrows streets of the centrums, but the vehicle clearly has sufficient stopping power with ABS.

That van has traveled a long way. They are made here in Missouri.

Don’t you have another neighbor who gets upset by large vehicles in driveways? That person must be thrilled.

Never seen or heard of one in my life so far as I know. I suppose it’s something different, like using an S-Cargo.

As long as the parcel vans don’t hit the post.

Thats a fancy Chevy Express van. In the US they are beat up rusty contractor vans with no windows

I always preferred the Express to its Ford and Dodge competitors . It may not have been able to keep paint on its metal but I always thought they rode better (longer wheelbase) and didn’t have issues with tipping over.

There aren't many Express conversion vans left with windows like that but the previous gen isn't incredibly uncommon to see.

I don't really understand why you would want an Express unless you tow a lot but it isn't the worst looking van.

Those pre facelift Express vans weren’t half bad looking. I don’t really understand why you want one unless you towed a lot compared to more readily available euro market vans.
Rather unusually that one started life as a conversion van. Not many of that gen with that window and interior treatment left around here. You'd be hard pressed to find any old Express with less than 200k. If course you can still buy them new.

welp....the family business is car damage...they may tow more than most here

I imagine it was imported new because that’s the easiest way to find one that hasn’t been totally neglected. You can still buy them new for not very much money at all and the few flaws they have have been understood for 20 years now so it’s not a terrible choice.
I really am intrigued why an Express was chosen though.

That 13mpg must be expensive over there.

Hold up.she didn’t like large vehicles in the driveway?

i’d have to ask the owner...but going by the other cars they have im assuming someone else imported it and got into a wreck..and they fixed it to keep

I had one recently as a uhaul and hated it. They should be buying Fords IMO.

oh yeah
tho...its a little cheaper now
i think euro 95 is sitting round 1,70 now....per litre

Makes sense. Strange how FWD based large vans only really caught on here recently with the Transit, Promaster (Fiat Ducato I think), etc.
The MB Sprinter has been sold here for 2 decades now but its never been a big seller. It sold okay when it was a Freightliner /Dodge Sprinter but then they got a bad reputation they’ve only recently clawed back.
Then, there's the Nissan NV300. I can't attach a photo easily on my phone but it's a weird looking can with way too big of a hood.

They do tip over though. I don't have a strong preference.
I always found the radios in them strange as it didn't mute the static between changing stations with the dial.

he didnt
she mostly didnt like whatever set him off
the last month they were here she stopped twitching...dude got told getting angry could kill him...’

im thinking that was not a healthy homelife

A van rarely seen

It's an oddball on this side of the ocean. I imagine only companies that want a 'special' vehicle own one.

That must not be a recent picture. The last time I was in the Netherlands, which was only 3 weeks ago, Autogas was at €0.49 a liter.
In the center of Assen gasoline is ‘only’ €1.50 a liter today, according to my app :)
